Disabling Uniscribe
How do you disable Uniscribe?
The Uniscribe backend (usp10.dll) is the default and recommended renderer, however sometimes its desirable to disable it for debugging purposes. There are two methods you can use, one involves building a custom version of AbiWord and the other involves modifying your AbiWord.Profile.
- Compile AbiWord with make ABI_OPT_DISABLE_USP=1
- Add {DefaultGraphics="0x104"} [without braces] to the custom section of your AbiWord profile.
